Normally I wouldn't say that you should call the place and express your displeasure, but since they've conveniently posted the phone number on the damned sign.... well.... I guess it's a sign.

It takes a very small number of people who buy into "The Crazy" (as my wife would put it) to make everyone else look like a nut-job.

I'm sure that, by and large, the citizens of Kansas are rational if overwhelmingly conservative, people.

But you get one guy with access to a big sign and suddenly he's making a mockery out of the entire state with his abject stupidity.

It doesn't help that the GOP spent the entire campaign in a "zero percent down, no payments for twelve months, $500 cash back on finance" blowout-sale on CrazyTM though. Here we are post-election and, whatdayaknow, we've got some buyers.

First off I think the band "Kansas" should sue the state of Kansas for sullying their good name! Who knows what it is that makes Kansas breed this particular defect in people, perhaps it's the mixture of pollens from all the farm crops combined that cause some sort of psychotropic effect. To bad we can't send a low irritating sub sonic noise to break the hold of the pernicious pollens and return them to normalcy. What can you say about these people that has not been said already? This proves that religion is a drug, an opiate for the masses. The only time you see behavior like this that is so detached from reality is when psycho-hallucinogenic compounds are present in the bloodstream or the erosion of the brain through prolonged use of any hard drug. You can intervene when it comes to drugs and help some one who acts like this but when it comes to belief systems, then your hands are tied by constutional and civil law. So the only weapon we  have is to ignore them, they need some one to be their audience. Since we havent bought a ticket then we are not obligated to go see the show.

Don't worry Medstudent, I've been through Kansas and I really liked it and most people are cool. We in Ohio have the same problem with pathologically religious people, within 30 miles from where I type there are 4 of these mega churches where the trees are chock full o' these nuts, Oh what I wouldnt give for a fully armed Apache LongBow!

I seem to think that the American people are becoming idiot  and if you believe in God how can you do something like this and being a preacher is bad. If this is what religion is all about I am glad that I do not go to church period, the bible state we are not to judge other it is god place only and if you really believe in God don't judge other.

Does all churches believe in braining washing people, or are there that many people in this world who can not think for themselves.

I wish people like that would seal themselves up in a cave to await the rapture.  Don't they have a bunch of empty salt mines around Hutchinson, KS already set up for just that purpose?

By the way, the area code is 316 for anyone wanting to call the number on the sign to let them know how rational they are being and how well-organized their thoughts are.

What is that scripture in the Bible? Hate 1:1? (sorry can't find that one) This is sad. So when is it that a Church who is supposed to 'except all' and have them 'come as they are'; puts this stuff up?? I am going to visit family in Wichita, KS and I will go by this church wearing an Obama shirt. lol

First of all Obama is not Muslim (an so what if he was...people change). As I recall he went to a christian church for 20 years...How soon we forget. So, this church is no different than the pastor Wright at Obama's old church...speaking out about something they have no business speaking about at church. It's a sin the judge. How can a church the place where people are supposed to come to learn and praise have a billboard blatantly judging something they do not know.

This is the kind of stuff that incites anger in the simple minded people and next there will be a cross burning right outside the church.

For those who supported Obama and still are members of that church...try map quest..I'm sure that there are other churches in the area. Good luck!

I want to know just exactly what seminary or religious group ordained this idiot.  Has he even READ the Bible?   I don't recall there being any passage in it about Muslims (Islam IS an Abrahamic religion) being "sinful", nor is this in the Commandments.

Most of all, I'm absolutely sure that of all the potential sins listed in the Bible, the religion of the President of a nation that didn't even exist when the books of the Bible were written was NOT included.

So I'd really like this fool to explain how exactly the faith of the US President is or can be a "sin against God".   It ought to make a good skit for SNL.

It would seem that Mr. Baum got it wrong - Kansas IS the land of OZ (Dorothy never left.)

I was wondering about that to. How can the bible say anything about the POTUS being a Muslim is a sin. When the bible was assembled Islam had not been form.....and the US didnt exist.  If the bible said something that predictive and was correct I might actually still believe in it.

Muslims are bad.  (untruth spread to promote discord.)

Obama is a Muslim. (Don’t believe him, believe me (under control)

Our nation is in peril under a Muslim. You can’t go to heaven without Jesus. (I will determine your path by interpreting the bible for you and I say you’re sinning if you support Obama.  If you believe me, I control you, you are enslaved.)

All of this starting with bearing false witness.  This isn’t the work of the Lord.  "True believers" are persecuted through manipulation all of the time to hate more than they normally would.  You see this all over the world.  If it happens on our soil, it doesn't make it right.

i dont believe in this church and saying what it does, but unless it contradicts any kind of laws, what can one do, it is america. now all christians do not have to be ashamed, i believe in god, why should i be embarassed about someone else's behavior. as a christian we can not tell others what they can do in their personal lives, we can disagree and tell them this.  why should a muslim, or christian be embarassed about anything they do not support, nor have anything to do. god bless america, and i guess its freedom of speech, even if we dont agree with it.

He notes Exodus 20:3 on the sign too. This chapter says God is jealous and it's bad to worship anyone or thing but him. So... worshiping a Christian president (not that Obama is Muslim) to the point of allowing him to do some pretty unholy things is ok?

Silly pastor... Looking at the speck in my eye... when he's got a plank in his..

I've said it in another post and I'll repeat it here.  One is born with stupidity.  The clinical definition of "retarded" when I was in University was a measured IQ below 80.  One can't help that.  What's really a sin is IGNORANCE.  Ignorance is chosen behavior.  This self-righteous preacher chose to ignore all the evidence and published the incendiary message in the hopes that other ignorami would buy into it, thus justifying their hatred and contempt of others "in the name of the lord."  One wonders if they aren't really worshipping Moloch (a god who demands blood sacrifice).  They're almost certainly worshipping Mammon (the god of unrighteous greed).

I will go ahead and state the obvious -- Conversations require tolerance if you are ever to hear the other point of view. They also require a certain level of acceptance if you actually intend to listen and understand that other point of view.

The time for anger about injustice is always now, but one always has a choice in how they express them self. If people cannot be civil, then partisanship tribal thinking rules the day.

An Indonesian publication, the Banjarmasin Post reports a former classmate, Rony Amir, recalling that "All the relatives of Barry's father were very devout Muslims."

the Chicago Tribune confirms that Obama was "listed as a Muslim on the registration form for the Catholic school." A blogger who goes by "An American Expat in Southeast Asia" found that "Barack Hussein Obama was registered under the name ‘Barry Soetoro' serial number 203 and entered the Franciscan Asisi Primary School on 1 January 1968 and sat in class 1B. … Barry's religion was listed as Islam."

Los Angeles Times learned from Indonesians familiar with Obama when he lived in Jakarta that he "was registered by his family as a Muslim at both schools he attended." Haroon Siddiqui of the Toronto Star visited the Jakarta public school Obama attended and found that "Three of his teachers have said he was enrolled as a Muslim."

In his autobiography, Dreams of My Father, Obama relates how he got into trouble for making faces during Koranic studies, thereby revealing he was a Muslim, for Indonesian students in his day attended religious classes according to their faith. Indeed, Obama still retains knowledge from that class: Nicholas D. Kristof of the New York Times, reports that Obama "recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them [to Kristof] with a first-rate accent."

Obama's half-sister recalled that the family attended the mosque "for big communal events."

Watson learned from childhood friends that "Obama sometimes went to Friday prayers at the local mosque." Barker found that "Obama occasionally followed his stepfather to the mosque for Friday prayers." One Indonesia friend, Zulfin Adi, states that Obama "was Muslim. He went to the mosque. I remember him wearing a sarong" (a garment associated with Muslims).

I don't like calling names but you are a foo, ignorant, unread, un-educated to the realities of the world

I think you LIKE to call people names.

you believe the Koran and all of the other non-God religions? Doesn't that put you in the same basket with them instead of of the ONE GOD?

So people that don't believe in YOUR God, like muslims, don't believe in God?

              CLASSIC.

Actually, it's not. It is, however, one of the seven deadly sins in of Anton LaVey's Satanic Bible.

The logic of ACORN-PRIME’s argument is that if you happened to be standing in a bank while it is being robbed and you don’t stop the robbery, then you must be one of the perpetrators of the crime even if you happened to be only 5 years old.

Archon-Prime, your bigotry and ignorance are shameful.

I attended Baptist church in my youth -- I am not a Baptist.

I attended Catholic church on and off for years -- I am not a Catholic.

I celebrate Christian holidays, and take inspiration from Christ consciousness -- but thanks to people like you, I am not a Christian.

All that is beside the point.  This is a free nation, and the President-elect's religion is neither a qualification for office, nor an indication of his ability to govern.  For my part, I'd elect a moderate Muslim over a fundamentalist Christian every time.

Going to Catholic School does not make you a Catholic.

Being raised in a Catholic family makes you a Catholic UNTIL you become something else.

Obama was a Muslim until he became something else. Let's READ to Obama's own words:

Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr(former muslim). at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago.

"He introduced me to someone named Jesus Christ," said Obama. "I learned that my sins could be redeemed. I learned that those things I was too weak to accomplish myself, He would accomplish with me if I placed my trust in Him. And in time, I came to see faith as more than just a comfort to the weary or a hedge against death, but rather as an active, palpable agent in the world and in my own life.

"It was because of these newfound understandings that I was finally able to walk down the aisle.

              ------------------------------

Odd a Chrisitan in his 20s learning the basic tenets of Christianity.

Archon-Prime, your bigotry and ignorance are shameful.

              I've posted CITABLE FACTS.

You've contributed A PERSONAL ATTACK rather than provide a cogent argument to dispute those facts.

Now tell us more about bigotry and ignorance.

but thanks to people like you, I am not a Christian.

You don't know people like me. You don't even know me.

So please, don't blame me for your lack of faith.

About Careem's comment. I'm not sure that he meant to troll, nor that it was unintelligable- I think he might have been trying to make a point that he felt to be a vaild one- if so, his english is really, really bad though:

the americans are gifted to have a muslim president , if he enforce a law prohibiting dog style ( sex ) living of it citizen in the street, kidnapping and raping ( daily in thousands ).

Now I could be soooo wrong but if Libertarian for Truth is correct I think Careem was trying to say:

"The Americans (would be) gifted to have a Muslim president. He would enforce laws against doggie style sex, (help) all of the (homeless) citizens out on the street, and (prevent the) kidnapping and raping of thousands (that happens) every the day."

Or, at least, something to that effect. Not entirely sure though. If that was what he was trying to say, well, then, there it is. (Just remember that it's not my opinion but what I think he was trying to say).

Hmm...I read it more like 'Americans are lucky to have a Muslim president if said president prohibits doggystyle, homelessness, kidnapping, and raping'.

Which, depending on what you think that means for the homeless, might be great.

Of course, I got a little careless with the copypaste, so who am I to begrudge some unreadability?

Thanks, you guys!  I went back and searched Careem's other comments.  While I can't find it in myself to believe in Sharia Law, I don't think the man was trying to be offensive.  If one compares the AIDS rate in the sub-saharan regions of Africa, some of those countries have infection of 25-35% of the population.  In Algeria, Tunisia or Libya the rate is substantially below 1%, primarily due to Islamic restrictions on sexual behavior.  Their law seems to us to be highly restrictive, since we're comfortable with substantially more liberal social behaviors.  The offense, I'm certain, is a culture clash for the most part...and poor command of English.

Actually, Tyler, chances are neither of us are quite on the money when it comes to the translation. I think Libertarian's right though, it's mostly culture clash and bad English mixed in there too. To be honest, the only reason why I looked back at it was because the first time I thought it almost seemed to read quite a bit like some of the ESL students I work with so, when I read Libertarian's post, I decided to look at it again as if it were.

Anyway, looked at in that light, his mentioning of the homeless, raping and robbery combined with the prohibiting of a sexual position told me that it had to be some sort of religious/cultural laws that he was pointing out and/or relying on as either a part of his point or the reason for it.

But again, his exact meaning is probably going to be beyond us for a while until he gets a bit better. Oh well, English is a tough language- heck, half of those of us that speak it as natives have trouble passing the classes....:)

Street sex is NOT normal here in America. Why do you think this? Rape is not normal either. Rape is bad, everyone knows this. There is more rape here then in the east. This is true. But Rape is still bad and not normal. Where in America have you gone, that you would think this?

Please do not use blogs to learn English, your comments are very hard to understand, and people think your comments are negative, when they are really positive. Its the normal  behaviour of westerners for street sex and rape.compare to easterners

Rape and street sex is illegal in our country and is not at all normal behavior.

There is more rape here then in the east. This is true.

How do you know this is true?  I have a feeling that many more rapes go unreported in the eastern countries.  Recently a rape victim was stoned to death in Somalia for having been raped.  And this is far from the first time we've heard stories like this one in the past few years even.  I can understand why women in that part of the world might decide it's not a good idea to report it.  Maybe your statement should read 'There is more rape reported here than in the east.

And careem, I would like to invite you to visit our country so that you can see with your own eyes what our culture is like and not depend on someone else's distorted views of how we live over here.  Then you could go back to your country and tell others the truth as you've seen for yourself.  Maybe people from that part of the world wouldn't be so hostile to us if they weren't being fed lies about our culture.  Of course, it's up to you whether or not to believe the lie.

For future reference when I use Star Trek language I'm doing it in a humorous context. Maybe this jerk will lose his church and there will be a flea market or a huge strip bar to replace it. And further more these kind of pathologically religious people preach hate and violence and they and we should not be surprised or even upset when it happens. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Another example of a god-fearing, devout "Christian"....nice....perhaps someone should point out to the "good" pastor that lying and intolerance are sins against the Lord.....

Sin is in the heart and it happens inside and outside of religion. As does crazy people.

I find it funny how people condemn organized religion saying all it does is classify and divide, then turn and classify and divide those that are a part of it. Who is any better then?

Hypocrisy. Just like Wichita, Kansas preacher.    ; )

I was driven out because of the growing list of pedophile priests. I refused to put another dime in the collection plate to go toward their legal defense. I am willing to bet that the preacher who put up that sign has more than a few skeletons in his closet. Those kind are usually the ones who cast judgment on others.

You can call them out when you arent christian.. or muslim or anything else and you are a complete 3rd party and all you see is it destroying our world and killing innocents all in the name of some god.. what are we in the stone age... we are so insecure in ourselves not being able to explain things we have to make up a god to explain it..Ever think that we are just not intelligent enough as a species to understand everything at this point.. That is too hard for some to swallow, hence your religious fanatics who have to explain everything. The sun comes up everyday maybe we should worship the sun god...lol. We shouldnt have sex at such a young age.. but a couple hundred years ago people were married at age 11 or 12.. did you ever think the reason girls get their period at that age signifies they are meant to be reproducing... DUH...!! But we have made that wrong because we deem it is too young.. But God intended it since he made them that way biological.. That is hypocracy at its best... If you truly want to listen to god word then think about some of our natural things we try to subdue with rules and laws...pretty ironic...

Not all Muslims are terrorists, and not all christians are ignorant.

One could assert that farther. Only a few Muslims are terrorists, though by definition, they cease to be Muslim when they engage in violence against innocents.

Not all Christians are ignorant stands as written.

However, I am obliged to also say that in issues of faith, the abject rejection of faith based moral arguments can also be an ignorant position to take. It discounts the validity of the human condition. People often tend to believe what they can see, even in matters of faith.

Knowing is harder than believing. It requires patience and effort.

Rarddogg, hypocrisy most certainly can be "called out" just as it was by Jesus Christ and scores of other prophets in Jerusalem...and look what happened to them. They were made outcasts, stoned to death and crucified in great numbers. I wonder if this pastor would be as willing to proclaim his misguided message if it required such risk? He's hiding behind his big blue sign, and his 'church without walls' certainly seems to be erecting a wall of ignorance around itself.

LMAO -- Yes, they can start running now if they know what is good for them.

Kool-Aid is an appropriate metaphor for much that deals with shaping perception. In small infrequent doses it is not harmful. It looks pretty, and tastes good.

It is only later that the consumer discovers they have recieved no real nutrition and maybe will get holes in their teeth for the bargain. Hey, if one drinks enough sugar in sufficient quantities, one may even get diabetes. So why would anyone want even metaphorical diabetes? And knowing that is a possibility, why drink the Kool-Aid in the first place?

And yet, some peope do. Especialy children. Kool-Aid offers a simple pleasure without the awareness of complications. Or in laymans terms, it is yummy.

Funny you should mention Jamestown, the story of that tragedy was recently on TV.  I was too young at the time to realize what was going on, but read a book about Jim Jones later on.  It is sad, his son said they had some idea that this would get bad but never dreamed he was dark enough inside to take out the babies and children.  Really, really sad.

Someone will justify trying to attakc the president or perhaps and obama supporter by doing gods work.

At one point in my life, I interpreted the following quote as a message of hope:

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.
                                            -- Margaret Meade ()

I thought that reason would outlast any irrational ideological movements. But then I grew up. More recently I realized this same tendency to organize can cut both ways. Beware the so-called "crazies," for they are determined, and they are more likely to act on their determinations.

The only rational choice left is to reach out and understand those who think differently. To label them and ostracize them will only provoke them to continue making their plans in secret.

History always comes back to bite... Sadducee, Pharisee, Taliban (with a cross,) and he will probably ask for an execution of a President as soon as he did Christ...

Unfortunately, I live in this damn town.  Now just to set the record straight, Wichita, Kansas has a population of around 500,000 when you throw in the neighboring suburbs.  Now while we are smack-dab in the middle of the bible belt we aren't all as kooky as the pastor at Spirit One.

Don't get me wrong.  Most people here are pretty damn kooky, just not as kooky as Mark Holick.  I've seen people physically move away from me after I've said, "God Damn" because they were afraid that a bolt of lightening was imminent...

Here is a series of write-ups by a young lady that actually decided to visit Spirit One after viewing their sign.  It's sad actually that there is still this much hate out there...

basically a first hand account it's pretty long.
the pastor is sure he is a Muslim and also gets a lot of calls on the sign, more than any other sign he has put out there.
he lists the usual talking points.
he is really an arab.. when to a muslim school.. showed that picture of him in african garb. etc
same nonsense from the election,d different troll spewing it.

Isn't there another church in town that carries a banner and call their church Hate America Church?Something like that and its ran by a old man and his entire family? They step and walk all over on the American Flag, hang the flag upside down and what ever evil things they do to our Flag? They also protest at Military funerals which forced George W Bush to sign a bill of no protesting at any Military funerals. My friend from that area said that its really ignorant and bad cause they yell and hold these disgusting signs disturbing the community. That a motorcycle gang revved up their bikes to drown them out for one of our fallen heroes.

There's a documentary about this church and I found it very disturbing with them saying God hates America,Military are fags, you deserve what you get and so on.On top of that they have children brainwashed by this church cult walking around with signs, dishonoring the flag, saying nasty things they were taught.Talk about being Un-Anti-American that group there sure is.

Hey CT - just look at the 2008 electoral map. Everthing east of the Mississippi River shows that we are still fighting the Civil War. I know...I was born and raised in Tennessee. It seems that the more churches a city has, the more nutjobs we attract.

Kind of spooky when you think about it.

Funny how one group can disparage Obama for staying so long in a reverse racist church yet another group can disparage Obama for being a Muslim.

I seem to recall a study where people of certain tendencies would be more convinced of their beliefs when presented with evidence to the contrary...

Wright thing home on up through election day and none of his legions of fans ever got hip to the fact that for all of Hannity's railings against Obama staying in that church for 20 years and asking over and over again why didn't he leave Rev Wright's church sooner, no one ever seemed to notice that Hannity stayed a "proud Irish Catholic" even when it was apparant that said church had and was continuing to cover up the pedophile priest scandals.

Why does this not suprise me, I was expecting more hysteria than this. People are out of this country with paranoia. Instead of focusing on the facts of the matter, like a crappy economy, a poor educational system, sky high taxes from county-city-state-federal levels, lack of proper health care, and the loss of millions of jobs, the consolidation of our fascist business community and governmental representatives, there is much more to be concerned bout than whether or not Obama is a Muslim, since he has been attending church for decades.

This is not a represive country as was 15th Century Spain when Muslims and Jews had to pray in their basements to keep the faith. If Obama was a Muslim, he could have been one openly since his 'wild days' as a domestic rebel.

I really don't think of whether or not President Obama is a Muslim or not really maters as far as I know of the Muslim faith.
This is just another form of hate and the same ole crap as was said before that was said during the elections. As a matter of fact I have a interest in the Muslim Religion and if anyone out there can share a little bit about the Muslim faith with me , I will be grateful and will listen.
But I believe what our President says ,and if he says he is not a Muslim then he is not.All of the photos mentioned in the news comes from the President tracing his fathers heritage, whats wrong with that?

Right, and though Obama is technically a Boomer, his experience is more of that of an early GenX'er. His father only saw him what was it, 2 times? Not the "norm" of the time. I was born 12 years after Obama and had many, many friends who have no recollection of one of their parents. Though I and my closest friends reach our early teen years with both parents married, none of us made it to adulthood that way and that caused some amount of curiosity in quite a few people who had a parent that wasn't part of their life after the divorce, naturally.

Obama's presence as our next President and the large amount of culture shock that these types of people shows how fast things have changed in our world in such a short amount of time.

On the other hand I find it really strange that so many people are as surprised by it as much as they are. Case in point, I finished school with a GED 5 months before by high school class did, and we had a black student council president. That was 1992 in Alabama. But then the classes of 1990 and 1991 also had black SC presidents as well. At the time most black people mainly lived in less than a quarter of the city, not a quarter of the population but in one part of the city separte from the rest of town, a throwback to the old Jim Crow days for sure so it wasn't one of those things where we were in an area that had a black majority so hopefully we're finally going to get away from insane culture and heavy race issues in politics and both black and white can move forward together, finally.

I hope so too,but as you were talking about.IN allot of American cities back then,African Americans was ,thanks to the urban redevelopment act ?,was moved to "one"area of town in some believe that was a government way to disfranchise and separate the races from each other therefore causing divisions.A sad part of history and a major setback.

Sounds funny Billbill..but you know the series of books that are all called "____— for Dummies"? Or  "The Complete Idiots Guide to____?" Go get them if you want to learn the VERY basics of Islam...like who Muhammad is and where the different sects came from ...you know Shia, Sunni.....interesting to read the basics without the spin and the "evil" attached...

Well thank you for the advice maybe we both go purchase that book and share our thoughts with one another.I am sorry if something I said didn't have that much input and I don't mind to be corrected if I have misstated something, sometimes when I write I get so far ahead of myself that I miss some points.I have for most through personal relationships and books that I have read over the years, educated myself.I did attend college to study business and have become emotional to certain causes having a interracial relationship and living in the south. My only intention is to speak on what I feel a conviction for, that I want apologize for. When you live in a area that some times people drive by cowardly and yell racial negative, spiteful words,it builds up and then you seek answers to how you can make a change. Now if you think this sound ignorant to you, well I will always be in the process of growing and maturing and learning for probably for the rest of my life. But I have found out the path of leaders who teach peaceful resolution speak more to me.Although I do have a interest to learn about the Muslim religion because I feel we all should see and understand their views before we judge anyone. Please JustLynn if you have anymore advice to give please pass it along, its so hard to find someone who will take time to give you advice to brush up on something,THANKS.

I want to add that articles like this really in my view hurts the people of this country to here because that it really doesn't change anything for the positive for our nation.I am sorry but this is really playing to the sound of bad media. You have to ask yourself is this really a issue what radical religious with no merit or viable stance or place in our government thinks or have a problem with?I have written articles about Israel and the Gaza strip blockade, but it has no anti-Semitic remarks as far as I am concerned. These articles about hate has nothing to do with how this country will be led.I answer to them to get my point of view across about hate but I will say that there are so many articles about this that I would have to spend a week commenting on all of them.

This group in Kansas thrives on attention and they get support from idiots who think they are doing something will support them. And when this is run its course they will find something else to try to bring them national attention. They thrive on what is called the "shock value."Well I'm not shocked ,this is the same group that goes to military funerals and protest the war and say that AIDS is the wrath of God.Nothing more than a cult, not to be confused with a true Christian church. These people have their own self serving agenda to support themselves and not the concerns of what is good for this country as a whole. The group is a makeup of a entire family related to each other that is using this to pay the bills when some reporter brings them on the t.v. news or some talk show. This is all about a way to get quick attention,I'm sorry but this is trash.I don't like seeing people trying to get ahead by bringing out the worst of people with a publication of exploiting hate for people to be divided over.I really can't say enough about it.Watch and see how many be will be angry with one another after reading and talking about this issue."BAD NEWS!"

Sad and dissapointing. This shows how much hate, stupidity, and utter wackiness in our country. Unfortunately, a lot of this hate comes from the pulpit. Luckily, their days are numbered and the times are a slow change. The rate of church going Americans slowly declines, every single year.  The rates have not risen or seen a hint of rise, in over 3 decades. People are becoming more aware of the hate speech rhetoric supplied by the far right "churches" and choosing not to attend. There will always be wacks like this, but less and less in the future we can only hope. If you're religious, pray at home, pray with friends, whatever it takes to fulfill your faith filled desires, but don't supply cash, time, and butts in the seat at places like this that profess such ignorance.

Most Americans are plain tired of the lies and excuses, the racism and hatred that comes from some churches.   They are the ones who need to be stopped in the name of God!!  This is not God's word; God loves ALL people!!
