Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Not entirely unlike that. I don't really see how Bush is "motivational." To me he is a living example of how far being born into money and power can take you.

If you weren't born into money and power... that's pretty depressing.

He won't have his straight man with him Cheeeney - like Bud Abbot and Lou Costello.

For the people born into money .. I think even for them he is an embarassment.

What motivates him and all other retired politicians is the millions being paid for a half hour speech. Bill Clinton has certainly milked the speech circuit for all it's worth. And Sarah Palin (I can see the money from here) quit the good people of Alaska for her millions.

Barack Obama will one day become a multi-millionaire before he's finished too. It appears that the true citizen statesman motivated to serve his county has become a relic of the past.

Harry Truman. like all pre WWII presidents, must be turning over in his grave.
